Summer’s ready when you are: 8pm, 24 April, Ivydale School

It may be a bit chilly outside, but in our hearts it’s nearly SUMMER! And the first rehearsal of the summer term starts at 8pm on Thursday 24 April at Ivydale Primary School.

The first two rehearsals of the new term are being led by our special guest director, Dan Maitland. Dan is a very experienced musician and choir director who usually works with the Goose Green choir. Dan will be teaching us a new tune, and you can download and print the lyrics and music here.

As it’s the first rehearsal of the term, we’ll be collecting the termly fees, so, if you can, please turn up a little earlier than usual so that we can get the admin out of the way before the warm-up begins. Fees are £5 per rehearsal or £40 for the term.

About Sarah Slade

Middle-aged, middle-sized and reluctantly middle-class eLearning designer, based in London. Wife to Mr Perfect, Mother of Little Miss Perfect. I write a lot of technical bollocks for a living, and as a consequence am very lazy about writing for myself. I occasionally write my own blog about living in London and sometimes I’ll find something interesting to say about my professional life. I sew a bit, I sing very averagely with an excellent jazz choir, and play a terrible game of badminton.
