Spring Concert News

Morning everyone,

The 2013 Nunhead Community Choir Spring Concert will take place at the Old White Horse on Peckham Rye at 3pm on Sunday 24 March.

Set list to be announced, but we have some very special guests who have kindly agreed to sing and play for us.

The Martini Encounter. The hilarious ukulele cabaret act that entertained us at the Xmas party. They’re going to be HUGE, and one day we’ll look back and say, “They played support to us once…now they’re doing Royal Command Performances with Son of Michael McIntyre…”

Martin Slade and Konni Deppe. Martin and Konni are a jazz duo who swing and sing like a pair of groovy angels.

So, please tell your friends and neighbours, or download the poster, print it out and stick it in your front room window, or persuade a local business to stick it in their windows…it’ll be fab…honest.

PS: The White Horse is famous for its excellent Sunday lunches, by the way, and I know that a few choir members are already booking themselves in for a pre-concert feast.

About Sarah Slade

Middle-aged, middle-sized and reluctantly middle-class eLearning designer, based in London. Wife to Mr Perfect, Mother of Little Miss Perfect. I write a lot of technical bollocks for a living, and as a consequence am very lazy about writing for myself. I occasionally write my own blog about living in London and sometimes I’ll find something interesting to say about my professional life. I sew a bit, I sing very averagely with an excellent jazz choir, and play a terrible game of badminton.
